Peace begins with dialogue. Our third session in the one‑day workshop series focused on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, organized by Umbrella for the Needy in partnership with the East Africa Feminist Peace Network.

This impactful gathering brought together 17 participants — staff, volunteers, women‑led organizations, and religious leaders — united in their commitment to fostering peace and collaboration across diverse communities.

Key Highlights

* In‑depth discussions on peaceful conflict resolution strategies

* Practical tools for mediation and dialogue in diverse communities

* Empowering women‑led voices in peacebuilding

* Strengthening collaboration between civil society and faith communities

Moving Forward

Peace is not only a global aspiration but also a daily practice. By equipping participants with tools for dialogue, mediation, and collaboration, this session reinforced the importance of building bridges instead of walls.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to our participants and to our partner, the East Africa Feminist Peace Network, for your insights, energy, and commitment to a more peaceful future. Together, we are shaping communities where understanding and cooperation thrive.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this important work.
