Umbrella for Women & Children Empowerment/UWCE is a non- profit institution first established to support the people of Tigray affected by the war and in operation since early November 2020 and legally registered as a local NGO in May 2021 by the regional bureau of labor & social affair (BOLSA).

UWCE was established by a group of volunteers through mobilizing community-based fundraisers in addition to collecting equipment & non -food items (NFI) to support the victims.

This effort help 55 households with 165 members and 106 children and will continue to make  difference by making partnerships with other fellow organizations.
